Welcome to the official site of the Historic Harrison Square! As a project of the volunteer based Friday on the Square Committee, this site has been launched to provide locals and visitors alike a place to discover the square.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation has recognized the Harrison Courthouse Square as a Historic District. It contains a large number of the city’s original commercial and governmental structures, including the still-used courthouse in the center of the square, the recently refurbished Lyric theater, and the beautiful 1929 Hotel Seville.

Harvest Homecoming Fall Festival
October 15-17, 2010 … Artists – Crafts – Music – Dancing
There are two big annual festivals (Crawdad Days and Harvest Homecoming), monthly Art Walk May through October, and Farmers market March through October that happen all right here on the Harrison square.
The Boone County Master Gardeners provide beautiful hanging baskets and landscaping throughout the square in the warmer months.
PLAY. SHOP. EAT. STAY.
